Fine  Motor Skills

What makes us human can be broadly understood through five major developmental domains:

language

cognition

gross motor skills

fine motor skills

social-emotional skills

Among these, the refinement of fine motor skills — such as sewing, handcrafting, drawing, and calligraphy — relies heavily on precise hand-eye coordination. Yet this area is often overlooked in formal schooling.

Providing children with age-appropriate opportunities to nurture these skills, in alignment with their growth needs, is both our mission and the responsibility we share with our partner nonprofit organizations.

人之所以为人，可以大致从五大能力领域来理解：语言认知、思维认知、大动作能力、精细动作能力、社会情感能力。

其中，精细动作的培养——例如缝纫、手工、绘画和书法——高度依赖手眼协调。然而在正规学校教育中，这一领域往往被忽视，导致许多孩子在成长过程中留下缺憾。

因此，让孩子在适当的年龄获得与其成长需求相符的帮助和熏陶，不仅是我们的使命，也是我们与合作公益组织共同的责任。
